Courage - Yong Gi

Yong Gi - Courage

This week at our Bolton school, I’ve been talking about Yong Gi – Courage in our Leadership Class. To be more specific I am talking about week 3 in your leadership Book.

“When the going gets tough quitters quit and winners show courage and ‘step up’.  Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail for others to follow.”

I quite like this particular passage as I like to push myself even in the most difficult of situations and help others follow. In Martial Arts this is a very important trait; however this is just as important in your daily lives as well.

Ask yourself have you got the Courage to make yourself tough and push forward or do you give up at the first hurdle? Do you know someone that gives up first time? If so then make that first step a Courageous one and get started with doing martial arts today. If you are already doing martial arts keep pushing yourself to be all that you can be and don’t be afraid to ask for help. Also don't be afraid to lead the crowd.
